Please post which version of the Unique Pages Mod you're using when posting a thread on it. Check the older threads too to see if something was answered too if needed.
Thanks!

Hi there,
I just instaled the mod, version 1.0.0 but I get a error msg.
I didn`t edit the files. I just copied them to the diretories.
Here`s the error msg I got
phpBB : Critical Error
Error updating sessions table
DEBUG MODE
SQL Error : 1054 Unknown column 'PAGE_LINKS' in 'field list'
UPDATE phpbb_sessions SET session_time = 1073165780, session_page = PAGE_LINKS, session_topic = '0' WHERE session_id = '33ce73cf7e2a0614b9127946a2f9ba91'
Line : 268
File : /home/restricted/home/subsolo1/public_html/forum/includes/sessions.php
Can you help me?
The script seams to be so cool, I really wanted to use it.
Thx in advance,
Daelin

Hello!
What other mods (if any) did you install lately?
Did you go through the steps of the mod (read the extra info for some of the steps) and make sure the files are edited like that.
What version of phpbb? What's your site too?
Thanks,
Adam

Hi Adam,
I don't think the problem is with other mods installed. I tried to install the unique mod in two foruns, one of them doesn't have any mod installed.
The problem is exactly the same.
I use 2.0.6 version and 2.0.4. (as I said I tested with both foruns).
Thx again,
Daelin

I think I found the problem, so try doing this:
Code: |
unique.php
$user_ip, PAGE_LINKS
$user_ip, PAGE_INDEX
|
Let me know how it works out!
Thanks,
Adam

Code: | http://www.yourdomain.com/login.php?redirect=/YOURPAGEADDRESS.php
if your domain has a folder after it, ie. http://www.computersoc.com/something the link would look like http://www.computersoc.com/something/login.php.... |
http://www.computersoc.com/login.php?redirect=/tos.php - Try that for example.

Welcome to computersOC! You should register!
Go to whatever you named the php file (wherever you put it). It should tell you everything to do in the mod.

In overall_header.tpl you will put this:
Code: |
<!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_out -->
http://www.yourdomain.com/login.php?redirect=/YOURPAGEADDRESS.php
<!-- END switch_user_logged_out -->
<!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_in -->
http://www.yourdomain.com/YOURPAGEADDRESS.php
<!-- END switch_user_logged_in -->
|
Making both URLs above to whatever the link is (use html).

Agh! I added a 2nd page and then this happens:
Quote: |
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_INCLUDE in /var/www/html/boards/about.php on line 21
|
Here is my code...
Code: | <?php
define('IN_PHPBB', true);
$phpbb_root_path = './';
include($phpbb_root_path . 'extension.inc');
include($phpbb_root_path . 'common.'.$phpEx);
//
// Start session management
//
$userdata = session_pagestart($user_ip, PAGE_INDEX);
init_userprefs($userdata);
//
// End session management
//
//
// Output the basic page
//
$page_title = $lang['About']
include($phpbb_root_path . 'includes/page_header.'.$phpEx);
$template->set_filenames(array(
'body' => 'about.tpl')
);
make_jumpbox('viewforum.'.$phpEx);
$template->pparse('body');
include($phpbb_root_path . 'includes/page_tail.'.$phpEx);
?> |
