If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you can borrow books, magazines, and more from the Prime Reading catalog and read them on your supported Fire tablet, Kindle e-reader, or Kindle reading app.
Prime Reading is a service that allows Amazon Prime members to browse and borrow titles from a selection of popular books, magazines, comics, and Kindle Singles. The available content is updated periodically, and titles are added and removed.
Unlike Kindle Owners’ Lending Library, a Fire or Kindle device is not required. Prime Reading titles can be read on any Kindle e-reader or Fire tablet, or using the Kindle reading apps for iOS, Android, or Samsung.
Browsing for Prime Reading books, comics, and Kindle Singles is supported on Kindle for iOS, Kindle for Android, Kindle for Samsung, Fire tablet and Kindle e-readers. For other devices, please use your browser to visit the Kindle store to access the Prime Reading catalog.
Browsing for Prime Reading magazines is supported on desktop browsers, Kindle for iOS, Kindle for Android, Kindle for Samsung, or from the Kindle Store on your Fire tablet. Browsing for Prime Reading magazines is not yet available from the Kindle Store on Kindle e-reader devices. To borrow Prime Reading magazines from Kindle e-readers, use the experimental web browser to locate the magazine title on the Amazon website.
Note: Magazines from the Prime Reading catalog cannot be read on Kindle Cloud Reader, Kindle for PC, or Kindle for Mac.
