Alexa can send voice messages to your Alexa contacts.
You can send messages from supported Echo devices or the Alexa app. Alexa delivers your voice messages to the recipient's supported Echo devices associated with their account as well as to their Alexa app. When there is an incoming message, lights on supported Echo devices pulse yellow and the devices chime. Devices with a screen also display a new message notification.
After you listen to a voice message, you can replay it by saying, "Repeat," or find it in the Alexa app.
Alexa also transcribes these messages into text when viewing them in the Alexa app.
