Nowadays, a great number of people choose Android devices. That is, there are many personal information saved on your Android, like contacts, photos, videos, messages, etc. If you want to sell, donate, or just give it to your friend, you'd better to wipe all your phone data completely. Even a close friend, we don't want he/she to find out something private from our Android devices. There are still some people don't know how to wipe Android phone completely. So, this article will tell you how to deal with this issue.

Method 1. Wipe Android Phone Data by Factory Reset

As most of the Android users know, factory reset is a built-in process that can wipe all the data on Android phones or tablets and perform as when it was first manufactured. When your phone was facing constant freezing or unbearable slow, you would like to use factory reset to solve it when there was no other option. Besides, if you want to sell your device or donate it, using factory reset is a good way to protect your data.

Method 2: Wipe Android Phone Completely with Software

If you feel unsafe about the method above, you are recommended to use Yolisoft Safe Eraser. It is a powerful data eraser software designed for Android devices. If you want to wipe out all your private & sensitive information on your Android completely and permanently and don't want anyone to get them, it might be your best choice. Also, it only needs a few steps to complete its process.

Make sure that you have anything you want to keep backed up before you do this because it will wipe everything. Go to Settings > Backup & reset > Factory data reset and then tap Reset phone or Reset device.
