I actually was going to add ad-aware support to this, but realized you had to have the paid for version, instead of the free version. I wanted everything to be obtainable freely.
I will explain scripting of Ad-Aware farther down, but you don't need a script to log it, It is in Ad-Aware itself, and if you have that option selected, if you run Ad-Aware from a script it will then log (but you have to save it before removing the malware)
Goto Settings>Tweak>Logfiles> check what you wish to log.
(see attached photo) however it does not save this, you have to do this manually by right clicking it, and hitting save.
I'm sure you would like an automated way of doing this, if it would at least save it somewhere you didn't want the log file to be, then you could put in the script to copy it to another location, but it doesn't save any log.
Personally i would bug the people at lavasoft to make a feature to automate the log files, or show you how you can do it:
http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index.php
Scripting help:
You would need to create a text file called anything you want to, but instead of the default .txt extention use the .bat extension that makes it executable.
then the code would look something like this:
This is the best way to do it, since it would work on any windows setup:
%PROGRAMFILES%\Lavasoft\Ad-ware\aware.exe variablegoeshere
list of variables you can add to the script:
http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index.php?showtopic=205
NOTE:
You can't run a script using C:\Program Files\.....
It would have to be "C:\Program Files\..."
If you have any problems just show me the location in full where your adware exe is, and i will make one for you.

ran into an issue. i downloaded the file and extracted the folder to C:\Program Files\Maintain. i ran the program and had it install Regseeker and Spybot. when i run maintain.exe, check the boxes i want (all but "shutdown"), and click F5 i get the error in the attached image...any ideas?
in additin to this, i have 2 questions: are you still planning to make an installer? how hard would it be to add the ability to have an option to run Avast Antivirus silently like the other programs?

Hey Vphreeze, thanks for your interest in my program.
I have never used Avast, but will look into if Avast can run sliently.
Can you take off all the check boxes, then try it with only 1 checked at a time, tell me which check boxes gives that same error, and which check boxes does not.
Also if you are running Vista this was made for XP, and does not support vista.

sorry it took so long to get back to you, i was off work over the weekend and dont get much net time at home.
i have tried it with all the boxes, each one idividually and with no boxes checked, they all give the same error. i am using XP. is it possible that i took something out of my copy of XP when i ran it through nLite? i didnt remove a whole lot, i tried to keep it to mostly just the "bloat", like the Windows Tour and extra keyboard languages and stuff.

yes, nLite is possibly the problem. This program was coded in VB which requires some bloated XP files.. lol.
Try this runtime package, it may fix your issue:
http://www.alphawolfpack.org/downloads/Computer_Maintain/VB6.0-KB290887-X86.exe
If that don't work, you may have to have .NET package for it to work.

Are you also running nlite or a modified version of XP?
Also check windows updates make sure you have all the .NET patches.
I am not sure if i actually posted any instructions for this program or not, but you must goto File > Compile before you attempt to run, or when you alter any settings.
I thought i changed it in a later version, but I can't seem to find it.
