These are the guidelines for posting on ComputersOC.com, if you don't follow them don't be surprised when your post gets edited, moved or deleted:
Asking for help:
Don't make new threads with titles like "HELP ME!!!1" or "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!" First off it gives people no idea what you need help with, just that you need help. A lot of people will overlook these for a while, so make your title descriptive. Second, the ALL-CAPS title, while making your post stand out more, generally does not do this in a good way. Include as much information as possible in your post, so people don't have to ask a lot of questions before they can help you. Also, don't make several posts within a few minutes in the same thread because you forgot something, there is an edit button on the top-right corner of your posts for a reason. If you have questions about a particular part or product post a link to it, same goes for lists to build a computer. If the link scrolls the page horizontally, use BBcode to make it short. | Code: | | [url=http://url.of.site/page]link[/url] |
Replying to threads:
Think out your reply, does it contribute to the thread? Just like when asking a question, try to include as much information as possible. If the conversation has gone off-topic, then please take it to either the ComputersOC Users forum, use the private message system or have the conversation outside of the forum.

When deciding to post individual parts for a build, use the Hardware/Software Help, Questions and Information forum or use this current forum for numerous parts that will consist of a new build. [added by Adam]
