While it may not be 1600 dpi, it's a very good mouse. The shape is very comfortable, and unlike Razer mice, the design allows for easy use of all 8 buttons. This mouse for under $30 is a great deal, especially with free shipping.

exactly!! i think its 1000dpi BTW
i paid 54$ for my MX518
