Picture Description: Windows Home Server Beta 2.
Apparently they are adapting to those of us who need basic server functionality at our house. It's based right now off of 2K3 small business so it should be pretty stable to test.

cool any additional features, features missing?

right now I haven't played with it too much, but its main features are across network backups and centralized shared resources, does all the automation of network drives and such. There is probably more I haven't dug into yet.

I'm pushing (along with others) for a dumbed down version of WSUS (Windows Server Update Services) so you could do updates pushed across the network, hopefully saving bandwidth.

So, is there a scheduled release date and a possible price tag?

Expected Release Q2 2007
The Beta 2 CTP dropped for external testing now, so it's public if anyone wants to register.

As for prices, no word yet, but I would imagine in line or less than small business server goes for right now.
